Member Onboarding to the Next Generation Service

The launch of the next generation referral service is going live on July 1. This is a significant project for the DBYD community since the decision was made almost four years ago to embark on a new digital platform. The new technology that underpins the next generation referral service will provide Members and Users with a vast range of enhanced features and functionality as well as being faster and more intuitive.

The data migration of DBYD Member information was completed on 23 April and any updates after this date will need to be entered by Members in their Member portal within the new service. Since July 2020 our service Partners at Esri Australia and Deloitte Consulting have been working diligently to finalise software design and configuration. In April of this year production mode of the next generation service commenced. This has provided a sandbox (testing) environment for DBYD Member organisations to test and transition to go live. Member onboarding commenced in May with five training sessions delivered to 913 Member representatives. The sessions provided critical information on:

  • How to get your organisation set up and configured
  • How to add team members as administrators of Member portals
  • How to confirm and update your Area of Interest
  • How to conduct testing and reporting
  • How to activate your referral channel

It is critical that all Members take this opportunity to confirm their contact details, Area of Interest, referral channel and then ACTIVATE their site in readiness for go live on July 1.

Once the channel has been activated, it will not go live until 0600 AEST July 1. The next generation Help Desk is operating to assist Members with the onboarding process. Members can book a Support Call and a support team member will be in contact to assist with the configuration process.
